CAUSE, the Mechanical Contractors and Unions Seal of Excellence, is comprised of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington and their 3,700 skilled craftsmen in Plumbers Local 5 and Steamfitters Local 602. Together, we have installed and serviced the mechanical systems in Washington's best-known buildings and landmarks - the Capitol, the White House, the Washington Monument, the Pentagon, the Air and Space Museum, Fed Ex Field, the MCI Center and the Ronald Reagan Building. We even installed these systems on Air Force One! Metropolitan Washington is now deservedly known as Silicon Valley East, and is home to the largest concentration of companies in Cyberspace, the Forensic Sciences, Medical and Pharmaceutical Research and many other high-tech industries. In the buildings that house these vital 21st Century businesses, the pipes have to work. That's why the companies that own them and the contractors that built them rely on the members of CAUSE to install and service the mechanical systems so vital to the smooth operation of their daily activities. CAUSE technicians are the most highly trained, highly skilled workers in the plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industries. |
